If they are not suitable, overlaying tiles might cause the tiles to pop in the future. In this case, we would recommend you to hack the tiles to prevent the unwanted popping. The additional height of the floor should also be taken into consideration when overlaying tiles as overlaying tiles increases the height of the floor.
For wet areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, we also provide water proofing services to prevent any water damages as well as any leakages. Our application of water proofing is in line with HDB guidelines.
